Depending on the itinerary, after payment you will be issued the ticket which can be either an electronic ticket or a paper ticket.
E-TICKET
What is an e-ticket?
An e-ticket is an electronic form of a traditional paper ticket. You book your flight as usual, but instead of a paper ticket, we issue its electronic equivalent in our reservation system and you receive all the flight information on an itinerary receipt.
We successfully implemented e-ticketing for all our destinations, simplifying the passengers’ journey from reservation up to boarding.
Only one year away from the implementation of the E-ticketing project, 99% of the tickets sold are electronic tickets.
From March 2007, Interline E-tickets can also be issued for flights involving Carpatair and other airline partners such as Malev Hungarian Airlines, SN Brussels, Swiss International Air Lines, Aegean Airlines, Hahn Air, Moldavian Airlines, Tarom, Air Berlin, LTU International Airways, Lufthansa, Finnair, Austrian Airlines, Air Baltic, Meridiana. The airline industry has taken global action to replace paper tickets with electronic ones due to the latter’s advantages on costs and environment protection.
You can nevertheless purchase a paper ticket through our Call Center, ticketing offices or travel agencies. Don't forget to bring your ticket along or you can choose to collect it at the airport desk before departure.
In case you have a paper ticket that gets lost or stolen, you have to contact your travel agent or the nearest Carpatair office immediately. The lost or stolen ticket will be blacklisted. You have to fill out a form and a new ticket will be issued upon payment of a lost document fee of 20 EUR.
If you choose on-line booking, paper ticket option is not valid.
