ACCESS
By car
The Airport is located within the boundary of Budapest, 25 km from the City eastward, alongside Main Road 4. The Airport is accessible by car from any point of Budapest. Ferihegy can be reached in 20 minutes from the City by the „Ferihegy High-Speed Road”. By that high-speed road, separated by string barrier from public traffic, the Airport can be accessed practically unhindered and any obstacle might be expected under extraordinary circumstances only.
By train
Passengers can easily reach Ferihegy Terminal 1 from the Western Railway Station in Budapest. 51 trains on weekdays and 38 at weekends ease the travel from the city center to the airport within less than half-an-hour for 300 HUF. There are 60 trains on weekdays and 45 at weekends from the airport to the city center.
By minibus
Similarly to all airports, Budapest Airport also operates a ‘shuttle service’ called ‘Airport Minibus’. It is available 24 hours daily, on fixed regional prices to/from any address within Budapest, or to/from the most regions in Hungary. By metro and bus
Budapest Airport is relatively well accessible also by public transportation means. Passengers are taken by a direct bus service from Terminals 1 and 2, Bus no. 200E, which leaves the Airport to/from Metro station every 12 to 30 minutes and the journey takes 23 minutes. Services from the Airport are available between 04:52 to 22:36 (and in reverse direction between 04:38 to 23:45). You can travel with pre-purchased ticket only (HUF 300 or 0,90 EUR), or with Budapest Card.

TAXI
Pre-ordered taxis can be taken as usual at the airport. The journey to Budapest takes about half-an-hour and costs approximately 5000-8000 HUF (20-30 Euro).
PARKING
Short-stay car park
400 parking places at Terminal 1 and 900 places at Terminal 2 for short-term parking are available in front of the Terminals, with convenient approach. The car park costs 280 HUF for 15 minutes, 350 HUF per hour; 1400 HUF for 4 hours, 4000 HUF for 1 day.
Long-stay car park
This service is ideal for those who wish to leave their car for a longer period at Budapest Ferihegy airport at favorable prices. The minimum parking period is 1 day. The daily rate is 4000 HUF; 10,000 HUF per 7 days.
Pay & display (quick) car park
Directly in front of Terminals 2A and 2B, a 180-place car park is available with a 60-minute time limit. The fee is payable at the parking meters. If you need to park for a longer period, please use the short-stay or guarded car park. The price is 200 HUF for 15 minutes, 800 HUF for 1 hour.
