ACCESS
Ancona 'Raffaello Sanzio' di Falconara Airport is situated strategically in the center of Italy, 200 km southeast of Bologna and 210 km northeast of Rome, in an area which includes Ancona Railway Station, the harbour, and the new multi mode transport center Interporto.
By car
The airport can be easily reached by car. A viaduct connects 'Raffaello Sanzio' Airport with the motorways for Rome, Milan and Bari.
By train
There is a direct railway connection between “Castelferretti” Station (in front of the Airport Terminal) and Ancona Railway Station.
By bus
There are shuttle connections directly from Ancona Railway Station and Ancona Ugo Bassi Plazza every 30 minutes. The ticket costs 3.25 Euro/one way. You can buy tickets at the newspapers stand in the Departures Terminal.
TAXI
Taxis are available upon request in the airport, anytime in connection with flight schedule. The journey to the city center of Ancona costs around 30 Euro /person.
PARKING
Car parks are located within or adjacent to the Airport complex and typically operate a self-park system. Transfers from these car parks to the Terminal run from bus stops located around the car park and generally take less than 5 minutes, while some are within walking distance. Parking costs 12 Euro/day.
Meet & Greet (valet parking)
This is the most convenient way to park. Simply arrive at the Airport Terminal where you will be met by a representative who will transfer your car to a secure compound, leaving you free to head straight into the Terminal to check in. They will deliver your car back to you upon your return to the airport. This service is the quickest way to park and is ideal for those on tight schedules.
