The road from a simple dream to a commercial pilot license is often long and complicated, but the Carpatair Flight Training School invites you to accept the challenge.
Carpatair Flight Training was established in December 2008 as a school for training pilots and flight attendants. In three years of activity, the school has expanded its offer of services and developed various training programs, so that it is currently authorized by the AACR to perform the training, in accordance with the requirements of JAR_FCL1, as follows:
PPL(A)- the obtainment of private pilot licence;
CPL(A)- module- the obtainment of commercial pilot licence;
ATPL(A)- distance learning;
IR(A)- instrument rating;
SEP(A) and SEP IR;
MEP(A) and MEP IR;
MCC(A)- Multi Crew Cooperation course;
TYPE RATING Saab 2000 and Fokker 70/100- qualification for the three types of airplanes for young pilots recruited by Carpatair;
FI(A)- forming course for Flight Instructors;
TRI(A) MPA- an theoretical forming course Type Rating Instructor.
Meanwhile, the school also offers a certificate course for those interested in Radio Operator in the fixed and mobile aeronautical service and aeronautical English courses.
School of Flight Attendants
The Flight Attendants School part of Carpatair Flight Training was authorized by Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority (RCAA) in 2011. The duration of courses, including Flight Attendant licensing, will last up to 4 month from the moment the training starts. The applicants must be over 18 years old, must hold a Baccalaureate certificate and posses a medical certificate (class II) and must pass an English Language test.

Human Resources is the most valuable capital of the school. Instructors and the administrative staff are well-trained, coming from a powerful cultural environment and have considerable experience in aviation.
Theoretical preparation is made by the most modern methods, programs, know-how and manuals, combining classical learning with online multimedia applications, having a logistics and a supportive environment designed for the expectations of the profession of pilot aspirants.
Two Cessna 152 aircrafts, single engine, dual control, ensures initial flight training to the students, and a fixed flight simulator class art FNPT II MCC, made by Mechtronix from Canada ensures the most important part of practical training of instrumental flight, navigation, coordination and management of the crew resources.
Mechtronix Ascent FNPT II MCC is a device that simulates a generic twin engine turboprop aircraft, that is also reconfigurable to two other aircraft types. This allows practicing specific procedures for air navigation exercise Instrument Flight, special cases and emergencies that may occur on board. The simulator will be the main support of training programs for new pilots.
This simulator is equipped with the most advanced image generator system, a visual system field of cylindrical view of 180 ° x 35 °, similar to those that have simulators with six degrees of freedom (FFS- full flight simulators) system that plays flight image with a perfect fidelity and high resolution.
This advanced equipment will allow our pilots to train in an environment close to reality, without exposure to operational risks, at costs far below the prices of a real airplane flight hours, which is one of the reason that this simulator has been chosen to equip the Carpatair Flight School.
In this way, at the time of passing to the commercial Carpatair flights on the aircrafts Saab 2000 and Fokker 70/100, the student will feel not only well trained but most of all safe, will feel that he/she understands and masters the phenomenon of flight and will be convinced that the power and value of the crew are much greater than the sum of individual values and powers of its members.
Carpatair Flight Training offers its students accommodation and transport facilities: reduced fares for transportation on flights operated by Carpatair; near Carpatair headquarters, inside Timisoara International Airport, students from the other cities can be accommodated to our 8- room hotel, at preferential fares.
